Amy – West Linton
Amy was motivated to start driving after her family moved house from Edinburgh to West Linton where public transport was not as good as it had been. This was a big change as she had been very used to not really need ing to plan as accurately around buses and lifts.
Amy had time off over the summer with university holidays but was due to restart in September so had a deadline in mind. Together we worked through all the areas of driving and developed a weekly plan which would keep us on track for her deadline. To begin with, it felt like we had lots of time but as time has a habit of flying by the deadline seemed to get closer before we knew it. This was all okay though as Amy was working head with her driving and correcting any of her small habits.
At the beginning of September Amy went on to sit her driving test in Currie and passed it first time. This set her up for commuting to university placements which were to be announced when she returned the next term. Always great to have things done in time with deadlines. Well done.
