Louise – Midlothian
Louise was later in starting to learn to drive but a recent job change, resulting in a very long bus journey, was the final push she needed to launch into acquiring this new skill. She was a little nervous about driving at the beginning but once we had explained everything and she started to get the hang of things there was nothing stopping her progression.
Louise was totally committed, doing weekly lessons and became very enthusiastic to the point where she even bought a car ready for the day she passed.
Louise found the driving videos I had made useful for consolidating elements of the driving. She said she would watch them and absorb something different each time which helped gain with the speed that she was picking things up.
Between driving lessons, Louise would go out with her husband, Dave, practising techniques we had been developing in lessons. She went on to sit her driving test in Musselburgh and passed first time which meant no more buses to get to work! She was always great fun to go out driving with and very enthusiastic about whatever challenges we were doing that day.
