Edinburgh Bus Lane Operation Times Changing

Starting from Monday the 5th of October 2015, Edinburgh Council has announced that it will be changing the operating times of a selection of bus lanes from 0730-1830 to part time hours. This falls between 0730-0930 in the morning and then in the evening between 1600 -1830. What this means for driving tests in the Currie area is that it will completely change the way you will drive down Calder road as unless you are overtaking or turning right at a roundabout then the left position will be the normal driving position. Most driving test times will fall out with the bus lane operation times but check the signs to make sure. In a way, this will make Calder road a far less difficult road to navigate. It’s just a shame for everyone who has just got to grips with moving in and out regarding different lanes.
