Sam Thompson – Marchmont Edinburgh
Sam got in touch about driving lessons at the end of the Summer, his situation was that he had taken driving lessons in Manchester and managed to get to a level that he was ready to sit his driving test but unfortunately the driving test waiting list times were so long that he wasn’t going to be able to get a chance of sitting the driving test before he returned to university in Edinburgh in September. We met up and ran through what Sam knew and he was extremely capable we just needed to introduce him to the various features Edinburgh had to offer compared to the area of Manchester that he had been driving around. We did a driving lesson running through everything, and then lined up a driving test giving us enough time to carry out a mock driving test and then fine tune any faults. The test day came round fast and Sam managed to take in everything we had to discuss using every minute to the maximum in the final hour before the driving test we parked up and Sam entered the test centre awaiting the examiner. Bang on 1437 the driving examiner came out his office and called Sam’s name and off they went into the distance. Upon return I was very confident that hopefully the driving examiner would have good news, and that he did. Sam passed first time at the Currie test centre in Edinburgh and returned back to Edinburgh University after to share the good news with all his friends.
