Millie – Loanhead Midlothian
Millie started driving lessons at the start of March. She had already done some driving lessons with another driving instructor and had also been driving with her mum. Millie was focused and determined to be driving in time for the summer. Millie was just finishing her final year at Firhill high school in Edinburgh and wanted the freedom of driving as soon as possible. We worked together and developed a lot of the great skills Millie already had and tried to build an all-round confident consistency. After each lesson, we decided what we needed to pay more attention to during the next driving lesson. Millie progressed well and her confidence and accuracy grew from lesson to lesson. It was time to book the driving test, Millie managed to get a test one week after her final school exam, may as well group the driving test in with it. When test day came it was fantastic weather and we are all set to show the examiner what Millie could do. As Millie left with the examiner I watched them walk away to the car and had to hope everything would go to plan. 40 minutes later they returned with the great news that Millie had passed with no real problems. What a great end to the week.
