Following in His Sister’s Tracks, Luca Aces His First Driving Test
Following his sister Mia’s successful driving journey in the summer of 2023, Luca wasted no time and began his own driving lessons the very next week. Mia, who had been flexible with her schedule, ensured that Luca could also conveniently fit driving lessons into his routine. Living at the same address, the transition to lessons with Luca was seamless. Our initial sessions focused on fundamental skills, including starting, stopping, and basic clutch control. Luca, a newcomer to driving, showed commendable enthusiasm and adaptability.
After a few lessons, Luca started practising with his mum, significantly enhancing his progress. His mum, well-versed in this routine from accompanying Mia, contributed to Luca’s development. As summer turned to autumn, we conducted a mock driving test, identifying areas for improvement. Luca, however, was set to leave Edinburgh for university in Aberdeen.
Booking his driving test for his return in January, Luca resumed lessons a few weeks before the test. We conducted practice sessions before and after Christmas, aligning with Luca’s commitment to consistent self-practice. His preparation indicated he was on the right track for a successful driving test.
On the test day, Luca approached it with readiness and determination. We arrived at the test centre after a series of focused practices and entered to meet Luca’s examiner.
