Robert’s Summer Driving Success: From Craiglockhart to Currie Test Centre
Robert, from the Craiglockhart area of Edinburgh, got in touch over the summer to start his driving lessons. With his goal to be test-ready before returning to university in Glasgow, we had a clear deadline in mind. From the beginning, Robert showed excellent promise, quickly picking up the basics during our weekly lessons.
What made Robert’s progress even more impressive was his commitment to practising with his mum and dad between lessons. This extra practice made a significant difference, and we saw great improvement week by week.
Unfortunately, just as we were making strides, I had a mountain biking accident that required me to take a break for surgery. But Robert didn’t let this slow him down—he continued practising with his family and was ready to jump right back into lessons when I returned.
With his confidence high, Robert managed to secure a cancellation at the Currie test centre just before heading back to university, and he passed on his first attempt! Well done, Robert—what an excellent achievement!
