Jaden – Blackford Edinburgh
Jaden got in touch about learning to drive. He was currently attending Edinburgh university and had a few days where he had free time to fit in driving lessons. We started with the basics, and Jaden quickly got the hang of things quickly. Living near Kings buildings in Edinburgh we were right in the middle of the two Edinburgh driving test centres. I told Jaden that I have more knowledge of the Currie driving test centre and felt I would be a lot more help in that area as a driving instructor compared with Musselburgh.
After we had got to grips with the basics and driven around a lot of the central sections of Edinburgh we started to drive more regularly in the Currie area. I tried to take Jaden through a lot of the areas where people make common mistakes. Jaden started watching the videos on my website also, this noticeably sped things up and really consolidated Jaden’s knowledge and understanding.
After a few trips away over the summer, Jaden finally got a date sorted for his driving test which was at the end of October. This was very exciting. The day before Jaden’s driving test I got a new car which was slightly different as it was now a petrol ford Fiesta rather than a diesel one. This feels a little different and was probably the last thing Jaden needed when getting ready for his test. After us doing a little driving in it Jaden was used to it and went on to show that even though the car had changed he could still pass his driving test easily. Well done Jaden.
