Claire – Oxgangs Edinburgh
Claire started driving lessons as transporting her two children around on the bus was a challenge in itself, with driving being an option it seemed like a very logical and helpful thing to start. This would make a huge difference to any journeys across Edinburgh that she needed to do, and also give her many other options of things she could do.
Claire went out weekly on driving lessons and in between lessons would try to go out to practice what we had been learning with her brother or mum. This seemed to work well as before not too long Claire had mastered the basics. The extra practice that she had done with her brother and mum between lessons really made a noticeable difference to our progression during driving lessons.
We drove around the Oxgangs area which has lots of challenges and many tricky housing estates. Very soon after Oxgangs and Morningside practice, we were venturing onto the Currie test area in Edinburgh which was great as it was good to get familiar with the areas that a driving test might run through.
Claire sat her test passing with only two driving faults and was complimented by her driving examiner.
