Ben – West Linton

Bens mum got in touch with me about driving lessons for Ben after his brother had successfully passed first time last year. We began a few days after his seventeenth birthday. Ben was in fifth year at school so was just about to sit his exams before summer. We had a target that we would hopefully learn and master everything before summer so Ben could sit and pass his test for the start of the summer holidays. We practiced regularly in Edinburgh and Ben also went out with his mum and dad between driving lessons, this sped things up. After bringing the skills together and Ben successfully passing his theory test it was time to get the real test booked and keep our plan on track. Ben managed to find a driving test for the day after he finished school. This was also the day Ben was leaving to go on his family summer holiday in the afternoon. This made the plan really tight. Ben rose to the challenge though. Passing his driving test on his first attempt on a horrible rainy morning. Well done.
