Chiara – Blackford
Chiara, a resident of Blackford, Edinburgh, kicked off her driving adventure during the summer holidays before entering her sixth year at school. With no prior driving experience, we embarked on a journey starting from the basics.
We began our lessons on the expansive Braids, offering ample space to concentrate on fundamentals without impeding other road users. Chiara quickly grasped the essentials, progressing swiftly through the learning curve.
As our lessons advanced, Chiara’s skills evolved, and we seamlessly navigated roundabouts, expanding our driving horizons. Her inquisitive nature shone through, always probing and ensuring a thorough understanding of every manoeuvre.
Come the end of August, Chiara returned to school, introducing a slight shift in her availability. Despite juggling school and hockey schedules, we identified weekly slots for driving lessons. Mock tests followed, addressing common hiccups and fine-tuning Chiara’s driving prowess.
With November on the horizon, Chiara secured a real driving test slot, strategically planned after her return from a hockey trip. A couple of extra lessons got her back in the groove.
On the big day, I picked up Chiara for our final practice. Her performance instilled confidence and my optimism proved right when she returned with the exciting news—Chiara passed her driving test on the first attempt, receiving compliments from her examiner.
Huge congratulations, Chiara!
