Chiara – Newington Edinburgh

Chiara is studying at Edinburgh University and had previously done a little bit of driving in London over the summer of 2016. Chiara had a new challenge of learning all about Edinburgh and adding to the skills she had already gained from driving lessons in a new car with a new driving instructor that was me.  On our first outing, we headed across Edinburgh on our driving lesson towards the Currie area of Edinburgh. We took on the challenges such as Calder Road and the city bypass. Chiara coped well but felt she needed a little more practice with the larger roundabouts. We worked on the roundabouts and tidied up the manoeuvres. After doing this it was time to attempt a mock driving test and see how it went. The result was good but still showed a few areas for us to work on. We managed to line up a test leaving us enough time to get everything perfect. When the test day rolled in I was extremely confident that Chiara would have no problems. I was right Chiara passed on her first attempt in Edinburgh what a great end to a week with another two first-time passes
