Conor – Carrick Knowe Edinburgh

Conor started driving lessons just before the summer began this year he told me that it was on the list of things he wanted to achieve this year. Having never driven before he was starting from the very beginning. On our first few lessons, we stuck to the Carrick Knowe area of Edinburgh mastering the basics and getting to grips with the clutch. Conor was really good at asking questions and making sure that he had a full understanding of each thing. We built a steady rhythm with the driving lessons and after we had covered everything and carried out a little practice decided we would try a mock diving test. Conor actually did very well with only a few noticeable areas that we needed to tighten up. Conor was due to go away for a couple of weeks holiday at the end of June so we discussed that if he could get his theory test done and out the way by the time he had done that we should be on track for sitting his driving test. Like clockwork, Conor managed to sit a and pass his theory test on his first attempt freeing us up to for the driving test which we were now ready to book. Conor was nervous on the day but still very focused which I wasn’t concerned about. As I expected Conor went on to pass his driving test on his first attempt in Edinburgh ticking of that goal for this year. Well done.
