Eilidh – Morningside Edinburgh
Eilidh had just returned home to Edinburgh from university in Aberdeen and was on a mission to bring her driving lessons to an end. Eilidh explained that she had taken driving lessons in Edinburgh with another driving instructor last year but never got round to sitting her driving test. We arranged to begin driving lessons the week she returned to Edinburgh and hopefully build enough momentum to sit and pass her theory test fairly soon. Eilidh was getting to go out practising with her mum in between driving lessons too. This was great as anything we developed she could perfect with her mum in between going out. I was very impressed with all the skills Eilidh had and after going out a few times and fine tuning Eilidh’s skills I felt it was the time we tried a mock driving test. This would be great to see how Eilidh coped with the pressure. Eilidh didn’t change too much under the pressure which meant we didn’t have much to do. We managed to get a driving test lined up for the end of June in Edinburgh. This was very exciting as there was a possibility that Eilidh would get to drive with the job she worked in which would be really exciting. On the day of the test, I collect Eilidh first thing and we did a lap of the Edinburgh area the test centre would use. All was good no horrible roadworks or broken down vehicles. We parked up for the test and discussed that if Eilidh could recreate what we had practised then it would be easy. Eilidh did just that passing with compliments from the driving examiner. Well done Eilidh.
