Harry Reid – Buckstone Edinburgh
Harry was extremely keen to start driving lessons and get on the road. His friend Euan Henderson had taken driving lessons earlier on this year managed to pass his driving test first time, this made Harry even more determined that he wanted to pass first time. Harry started learning to drive just at the end of the summer holidays. On our first driving lesson we drove across the braids in Edinburgh, Harry seemed to get the hang of everything very quickly and we were going in and out of junctions turning left and right by the end of our first outing. As the driving lessons progressed we had covered everything and just needed to practice things until we were very consistent. Harry took a month’s break as he needed to get his theory test done and once that was complete it was time to book the practical driving test. Harry got in touch and said he had potential driving test dates for the end of October or the middle of November. I said that we would be ready for the end of October. During Harry’s October break from school we went out a few more times carrying out final preparations for test day. Harry had become extremely consistent during driving lessons so I was really confident that he wouldn’t have any problems showing the driving examiner what he could do. Although the traffic seemed to be very busy on the day of the test this didn’t stop Harry passing his driving test first, time equaling his friend Euan and being told by the examiner that it was a very good drive. Well done.
