Heather – Swanston, Edinburgh
Heather got in touch to start driving lessons after recently being motivated by the success of her older sister Lindsay. She had passed her driving test earlier this year. Starting from the beginning we decided to go into the Caiystane estate in Edinburgh which was just over the road from where Heather lived. It is a great estate to start learning to drive in as it is like a grid so you can just zig-zag around it. The other thing about the Caiystane estate is that it is all on a hill so clutch control has to be practised and master fairly early on. This helps with the basic car control
Regularly going out on driving lessons weekly, we soon worked our way through the skills required fine-tuning anything that wasn’t as consistent.
Heather would go out regularly with her mum practising things which we had covered in lessons in between us going out. Before we knew it it was time to get the driving test booked the date set. When the test day came Heather was really prepared and I was confident that she would manage.
Not only did Heather mange to pass her driving test on the first attempt she did so with no faults in the Currie test area. what result. Heather was a pleasure to go out driving with.
