Josh -West Linton
Josh was very organised with starting driving lessons managing to arrange for us to begin as soon as he turned seventeen at the end of March. We went out and headed down to Penicuik on our first lesson covering the basics with clutch control and junctions. Josh was really good at asking questions and making sure he had a full understanding of everything we were doing. Out with driving lessons Josh was getting to practise with his sister and mum and dad, this was having a noticeable affect on his progress. Every time we went out Josh had perfected and tidied up things so we could move onto the next thing. We had the goal that we wanted to sit and pass the practical driving test in Edinburgh before the end of June when Josh was going on holiday. Josh did really well bringing the driving together and passing his theory test on his first attempt at the start of June. Now all we needed to do was find a test date. Josh logged onto the website regularly and was very lucky in finding a driving test cancellation that was just before he went on holiday. Even with all this pressure Josh passed on his first attempt in Edinburgh managing to see his plan of getting his license for the summer through. Well done.
