Koren – West Linton
Koren from West Linton started driving in the summer of 2014, starting from the beginning we started driving some of the back roads around the West Linton area. These backroads are great as you can go for miles without meeting many other vehicles, this means that there are limited distractions meaning the person can concentrate and really get to grips with the basics.
We went out weekly on driving lessons progressing to driving around the Penicuik area and once Koren felt comfortable with all the challenges Penicuik had to offer it was time to up the level again and head into the Edinburgh area.
We had now covered everything from multi-lane roundabouts to 70mph roads, and after not too long Koren had picked up what she needed to achieve and which skills she needed to perfect.
We became coming up with a plan of how to get the most out of each lesson and really tighten up these skills.
At the end of the summer, Koren successfully sat her theory test and managed to get a driving test booked for November, we didn’t have many things to bring together now and by the time the test came in, I was really confident with the consistency of Koren’s driving. Everything went to plan and Koren passed her driving test on her first attempt with only two driving faults.
