Millie – Marchmont
Millie was currently studying at Edinburgh University but had some free time in her schedule that she could dedicate to learning to drive. We started by doing some longer driving lessons three hours at a time, this was great as Millie had never driven before and it got us away to a quick start which we could build on. It didn’t take long to have Millie dealing with junctions and basic roundabouts which made our lessons very exciting as we could go wherever knowing there wasn’t going to be a feature coming up that Millie wouldn’t be able to deal with.
Millie from St Andrews was going to be returning home over the summer and where she lived and worked out having a driving licence would make a huge difference to her. We worked hard to bring everything together so she would hopefully return home with a driving license.
As the day of her driving test approached, Millie’s hard work and dedication paid off. Displaying her acquired skills and confident decision-making, Millie impressed her examiner, receiving well-deserved compliments. This validation not only boosted Millie’s self-assurance but also demonstrated her ability to thrive in different driving scenarios.
I was really proud of how she got on and glad she could return home for the summer with the new licences making it a very exciting summer break. Well done Millie
