Karen – Morningside Edinburgh
I had the pleasure of teaching Karen, who was searching for a driving instructor in the Morningside area of Edinburgh. Our lessons began just before the summer of 2022, and Karen was availible to start her day with early morning driving lessons, starting at 7am and finishing at 8:30am. This allowed us to experience a wide range of activities on the Edinburgh roads, starting with quiet roads and ending with the hustle and bustle of people heading to work and school.
Karen made fantastic progress, and by the end of the summer, we were able to bring everything together. She had passed her theory test also, which meant that it was time to find a practical driving test date that would work for both of us. Luckily, Karen was able to secure a test date for early December 2022, and we were all set to go. Unfortunately, the weather had other plans, and the test had to be postponed due to snow. Karen was disappointed, as she was all set and ready to go.
Karen went away for a short period over Christmas, and on her return, she decided to book a test for January or February. However, she faced some difficulties in finding a suitable date, and after a few months of putting lessons on hold, she finally managed to secure a test date for March 2023. We went out for a final practice the week before, and we were both excited and hoping that the weather would not cause any issues this time.
We made our way from Morningside to the driving test centre in Currie, and I was delighted to hear the news when Karen returned from the test. She had passed on her first attempt, and we were both thrilled! Well done, Karen, you can now come and go from Morningside whenever you want with confidence!
