Robin – The Steils Edinburgh

After successfully helping Robins partner to pass her driving test a couple of years ago it was now Robins turn to see if he could take on the new challenge of learning to drive around in Edinburgh. We started driving lessons in March this year and after successfully completing one lesson everything unfortunately stopped due to Coronavirus the following week. Robin was ready to resume however as soon as we had the green light. We did regular weekly lessons after resuming in August and Robin managed to find and secure a theory test. Lessons were going really well and we had taken on most of Edinburgh’s challenges. Robin was a fast learner and always up for retrying things to perfect them. After successfully passing his theory test we managed to get a driving test booked and lined up for a few weeks later. This was very exciting as it all became very real. Robin told me while we were driving around before his driving test that he was feeling nervous and hadn’t been able to think about anything else really all day. I was really confident in what he was capable of as he had really pulled things together over the last few weeks. I was right to be confident as Robin went on to pass his driving test on his first attempt at the Currie test centre in Edinburgh. Well done.
