Suzi – Kingsknowe Edinburgh
Suzi was a friend of someone I taught to drive earlier this year and had decided that this year she was going to get her driving licence and tat she would like to have me as her driving instructor. We arranged to begin in April as I was really full initially and Suzi said that she would be happy to wait. On our first driving lesson Suzi told me that she had never driven before but had ridden a bike around Edinburgh and all over the Netherlands. This was great as it meant that without knowing it Suzi would have already dealt with a lot of complex situations on the road. We worked our way through each topic and discussed at the end of each lesson what our next plan should be. We were driving all around Edinburgh and taking on a lot of the tricky challenges Edinburgh has to offer. Most of the driving lessons Suzi did were around 5pm, this meant that we were driving in very busy traffic conditions regularly, so this became very normal which was great as if Suzi could drive through roundabouts and horrible junctions when it was busy come test day when it was quieter Suzi would hopefully have no problem at all. Suzi brought everything together by the end of the summer and we managed to line up a driving test for the end of October. I was so proud that Suzi passed her driving test on her first attempt. This was going to be a big surprise for her family as she had kept the whole thing a secret and was planning to shock them all this weekend. Well done Suzi.
