How Much Are Driving Lessons In Edinburgh?
The cost of driving lessons in the UK varies depending on the area. Currently, in Edinburgh, the price range for driving lessons is between £35-£55 per hour. A large franchise like RED, BSM, or Bill Plant usually charges a lot more money so would be at the higher end of the scale as a percentage of the money goes to the company so this has to be built into the cost. Driving lessons are usually charged at an hourly rate, you want to check that your driving instructor in Edinburgh is fully qualified and not a trainee. Usually, independent Edinburgh driving instructors will be fully qualified. However, with the big franchises, a huge percentage of their instructors are not yet fully qualified but charging top prices.
Unhappy? Change Driving Instructor!
Learning to drive is an expensive and extremely important skill. Not only do you want to feel safe and become a confident driver, but you also want to enjoy the learning experience. I personally don’t think it is wise signing up for a big block of 10 driving lessons before you have met and been out with a driving instructor.
