Iain Steven – Morningside Edinburgh
Iain started driving lessons at the end of last year, he was on a gap year after finishing school and not sure exactly what he wanted to do next. Iain decided that learning to drive was going to be one skill that he would like to get. I had taught Iain’s older brother Sandy to drive a few years ago and he had done very well passing his driving test first time with no real problems so hopefully Iain could follow in his footsteps. Iain was doing very well with driving but had a lot of things going on with an exciting bit of traveling happening at the start of 2016. After returning Iain picked up driving lessons at the start of the summer hoping to pass before going away to university in Glasgow in September. I was confident we could do this. Iain was focused and managed to get a driving test booked for the 31st of August, this was just days before he was going to be leaving to start university. During our practice on the day Iain was really good leaving me very little things to say. Iain managed to pass first time in Edinburgh bringing everything together before university and managing to get that new skill before his gap year was over! Well done.
