Michael Dennistoun – Buckstone Edinburgh
Michael’s mum got in touch to arrange driving lessons for him as I had taught one of Michael’s friends Euan earlier on this year. Michael was a very keen learner always full of energy when we went out and always had questions which created a brilliant atmosphere from lesson to lesson. After a few times of going out Michael’s dad decided to take advantage of the arnold clark dual control hire cars and add to our weekly session, this was very noticeable to me as we progressed through the various things we needed to learn and master. Before we knew it we were looking to get a driving test lined up, we had one last task left which was to master Calder road the network of roundabouts with bus lanes splashed in amongst them. Michael felt by the time his driving test came up that he would be disappointed if he wasn’t taken on Calder road to demonstrate to the driving examiner that he could do it. The driving test came in and Michael’s unusual wish of wanting to go on Calder road came true! Haha. Michael did really well in his driving test passing first time equaling his friend Euan’s achievement. Michael is now free to use his own car which his mum and dad managed to get for him to enjoy and give him freedom.
