Nikki – West Linton
Nikki was very keen to get going with the driving following in the footsteps of her older sister Jo who I had the pleasure of teaching a few years earlier. Also living in West Linton she was limited to either getting lifts from people or a bus timetable so driving was going to give her so much freedom.
Together we covered the basics of driving and the features on the road. Nikki then practised a lot with her Mum and Dad and brought everything up to an extremely competent level. We practised in the Edinburgh area and Peebles area before going on to sit the driving test in Peebles. Nikki chose to sit the driving test in Peebles as there was a test available earlier than Edinburgh but I wasn’t worried where we went as I felt the standard was high enough for either test areas.
Nikki being very competitive, was desperate to pass first time as Jo had managed to achieve this so the pressure was on! Nikki went out on the day and performed amazingly well. She had no problems passing first time so didn’t lose to her sister which was the most important thing for her.
