Rhys Peacock – Loanhead Midlothian

Rhys from Loanhead started driving lessons last year. He was the last to start after his sister and brother. On our first driving lesson we drove around a very quiet section of Loanhead trying to get to grips with the basics and get a good general understanding of how the car worked, Aiming to gain good basic car control. Rhys managed to follow the things we were going through okay, and not before long we were driving all around the Loanhead area. We slowly expanded what we were doing was linking from Loanhead to Roslin then driving to and around Penicuik on our driving lessons, meaning we were getting a range of features on the road. Rhys and I decided that the Currie driving test centre was going to be where we were taking the driving test in Edinburgh, so started to practice more in the Colinton and Wester Hailes area of Edinburgh. Rhys managed to pass his driving theory test, meaning that when we were ready we could book his practical driving test. We had a little work to do, but together over time managed to fine tune Rhys’ driving to an extremely consistent level. When the day of the diving test came in I told Rhys not to overthink anything, just drive like we have been driving when doing your driving lessons and you will be great. Rhys did exactly that passing his driving test first time on Edinburgh with only one driving fault which was incredible. Well done.
