Sian – Balerno Edinburgh
Sian began driving lessons in the summer of 2014. Her home patch happened to be part of the Currie test route and this proved to advantageous as she was very familiar with the roads and able to work through all the skills required for driving. This is always good as people tend to remember bits of road more if they are familiar with the area that it is.
At weekends Sian and her mum would regularly hire a dual control car from Arnold Clark and go out practising. This always helps as anything we were covering during our weekly lessons Sian would perfect and get to a consistent level with her mum. This meant that the next time we went out we were ready to move onto the next thing.
It really didn’t seem like long at all until Sian had brought everything together and was ready to book her driving test and give it a shot. I was really confident that we had covered the average scenario and Sian had a good way of processing the road ahead.
She went on to pass her test at the beginning of October prompting her dad to get an MOT for her granny’s car so that it was ready for her to use.
