Steven – Polwarth Edinburgh

Steven got in touch about learning to drive at the end of the summer. At the time I was full and explained that I wouldn’t be able to begin driving lessons until November. Steven said that he was happy to wait so I got to work making sure I would be ready for him to start. Steven had come across my YouTube videos so while waiting to begin had watched a few videos explaining lots of different things to do with driving. During our first driving lessons, we managed to get so much done as Steven had already done some basic practice with his girlfriend Danielle. After the time of three driving lessons and Steven going out practising with Danielle we had covered everything, it was now just a case of bringing the finer details together. Steven was a complete perfectionist which I liked a lot. Nothing would just do it had to be done again and again until it was absolutely perfect. We worked away at things, and while continuing driving lessons Steven managed to sit and pass his theory test first time. We now had the mission of trying to find a driving test before the Christmas holidays. Steven was relatively flexible as to when he could sit the test so we just needed to check that I didn’t have a driving test that would clash with the test dates that he found. Steven managed to find a cancellation for one week before Christmas this was great as I was free on this date. The week before the driving test we carried out a mock driving test the not only did Steven pass he passed with no faults. This was great but not the real test so hopefully he would manage to do something very similar on the day. Test day was here before we knew it Steven commented that he could feel the adrenaline during our drive before, he still managed everything. We parked up ready for the test and made our way into the driving test centre. Steven did so well passing on his first attempt and to top everything of he passed with no faults! We were both delighted well done and what an achievement.
