Amy Sylvester – Penicuik Driving Lessons
Amy started her driving lessons in Penicuik at the end of the summer holidays in 2014. Amy had a busy week at Penicuik high school so could only fit her driving lessons in after school or at weekends. Weekly Amy and I would go out working though the different areas of driving keeping the lessons in the Penicuik area to begin with. Not before too long the challenges Penicuik had to offer during driving lessons became routine so it was time to leave the Penicuik area, and look for new challenges in Edinburgh. After another few weeks of driving lessons Amy had mastered the Currie area of Edinburgh including Calder road with all of its roundabouts and bus lanes. It was now time to book the driving test and see if Amy could apply all of her new skills under pressure. On a cold frosty Saturday morning I turned up to collect Amy to go for her driving test. We had to call the driving test centre to check that the driving test was still going to be going ahead as it was so frosty in Penicuik. With good news we headed through to the Currie area to have a warm up and run through everything we had practiced in the months of driving lessons we had completed in the past. Amy came back at the end of her driving test and not only had she passed, she had done so with no driving faults which is incredibly rare! Amy could proudly return to Penicuik high school on Monday and brag to her friends about her amazing result!
