Morven Mcintyre – Morningside Edinburgh
Morven was at Heriot Watt university and got in touch about learning to drive. Morven had had a few driving lessons already and done some driving with her mum and dad so wasn’t a complete beginner, we just needed to build Morvens confidence and turn her into a driver! We spent a few lessons driving up and down Calder Road at the Sighthill roundabouts getting familiar with all the lanes and the many roundabouts that come one after another. Once that clicked it was time to fine tune any small issues we had left. We carried out a pretend driving test and went over it at the end using the incar cameras to replay parts of it to gain a full understanding of anything that wasn’t correct. We had everything to a really good level, at this point Morven decided that she would practice with her mum and dad for a bit before booking the driving test which sounded like a great idea. Morven then had the motivation that her younger sister was turning seventeen this summer and was really keen to get started with her driving. When I met up with Morven the week before her driving test she had really transformed since the last time I saw her. All the hard work her mum and dad had put in was really obvious, Morven was now a smooth, flowing relaxed driver. We turned up for the driving test at the Currie test centre in Edinburgh and Morven Passed with only two faults recored throughout the whole driving test. She can now provide tips and advice for her younger sister and enjoy the rest of the Summer with her new full driving licence.
