Brodie – West Linton
Brodie started driving lessons after moving house and setting up in West Linton, Brodie knew how much freedom he was going to be be able have if he managed to get his licence. With very limited driving experience Brodie and I started our first driving lesson leaving West Linton and heading down towards Penicuik. As we drove along the moor road towards Penicuik we ran through basic clutch control, gears and steering. Brodie did really well and was always determined if he made a mistake he would get it next time. As the weeks went by Brodie improved each time and not before too long we were heading towards Edinburgh to deal with larger roundabouts and different road features. After we had covered everything and Brodie was feeling confident he managed to get insured on his girlfriend’s car which he practiced during the summer in, this was absolutely brilliant and there was a noticeable improvement to Brodies driving the next time we went out. Brodie had his test booked for the middle of September and we were completely on track. On the run up to Brodie’s test he was telling me that his brother also had his test coming up but not until October, Brodie was desperate to pass before his brother. Everything went to plan and Brodie passed first time in Edinburgh at the Currie test centre. Well done.
