Rachel – Oxgangs Edinburgh
I had recently taught one of Rachels’s friends to drive and not long after she had successfully passed her driving test Rachel got in touch about driving lessons herself. She was pretty flexible in regards to when she was able to go out driving as she was currently at university and between that and a part-time job Rachel was fairly flexible.
Living in the Oxgangs area of Edinburgh gave us access to lots of different roads, this was great as we could set lessons to a level that matched the level Rachel was at. It wasn’t before long that we had covered everything and had her progressing towards her driving test.
After successfully passing her theory test this freed us up to book her driving test whenever we felt ready. To get a rough idea we carried out a mock test which helps add a little bit of pressure and would give Rachel a rough idea of what to expect. It’s a little like doing past papers for exams when you were at school. After carrying out one we focused on a few things and strengthened up some areas before trying another. The more you do the more confident you become.
Finally, it was time to line up the driving test and give it a shot. Rachel did so well passing her driving test on a busy Friday afternoon at the Currie test centre in Edinburgh. Well done
