Emily’s journey to passing her driving test was a real team effort, with her dad covering the basics and me as her driving instructor helping to bring everything together. Despite her busy schedule, we managed to fit in lessons that made progress every time we went out.
Emily was so dedicated that she even passed her theory test with flying colours. But finding a practical driving test proved to be a bit more challenging. However, Emily persevered and was able to secure a test after a few weeks of searching.
My car had broken down the week before Emily’s driving test and I had been given a replacement car which meant to add even more to the day Emily had to sit the driving test in a car that she had only driven on the day of her driving test.
In our last few driving lessons, Emily really impressed me with her ability to handle pressure and perform well during a range of scenarios. On the day of the test, I could see was determined to pass and surprise her family. And pass she did, with flying colours on her very first attempt!
Emily’s dedication and hard work paid off, and it was so rewarding to see her succeed knowing that she could then surprise her family with the news later on. Congratulations Emily, you did an amazing job!
