From Polwarth to Currie: Catherine’s First-Time Driving Test Pass
Catherine, from the Polwarth area of Edinburgh, started her driving lessons earlier this year. Beginning in a nearby housing estate, she quickly got to grips with the fundamentals of driving, mastering clutch control and understanding how to apply her new skills. Catherine’s progression was steady, and we adjusted each lesson to address any areas she felt less confident with. After around ten hours of lessons, Catherine had covered all the essentials and was ready to take on a mock driving test.
Her mock test showed areas for improvement, but they were typical challenges faced by most learners. Catherine tackled these with focus and determination. After a short break over the summer, she returned to her lessons with a renewed sense of purpose, booking her driving test for September. With a few more practice sessions to regain momentum, Catherine was fully prepared by the time her test day arrived.
On the morning of her test at the Currie test centre, Catherine’s hard work and dedication paid off as she passed her driving test on her very first attempt. Now, Catherine has the freedom to drive confidently from Polwarth and beyond. Well done, Catherine!
