Abbie Anderson – Carlops Scottish Borders
Abbie started driving lessons at the very end of her summer holidays in 2014. Living just outside Carlops and attending school in Edinburgh it made sense if possible to start driving lessons in Edinburgh after school and finish back at Abbie’s house when possible. Abbie had an extremely busy schedule at school but still managed to regularly arrange a driving lesson each week. Not before too long Abbie had the hang of the basics and it was time to order all of her skills and begin preparation for her driving test. Abbie booked her test at the Currie test centre in Edinburgh. A lot of Abbie’s school friends seemed to be going for their driving tests around the same time which added to the pressure massively. I was confident with the practice we had put in including the mock test we had done that Abbie would be able to deliver on the day. On test day Abbie had no real problems at all passing first time .
