Ben Zhang – Morningside Edinburgh

Ben got in touch about driving lessons after watching some of my YouTube videos set in the Edinburgh area. After speaking for a bit Ben explained that he had been driving for twenty years in China previously, but wanted to sit his driving test in Edinburgh and acquire a full manual UK driving licence. Ben explained that he had driven a manual car many years ago in China, but for fifteen of the twenty years had driven an automatic car. Ben got back into the habit of driving with gears and using the clutch, and after going out a few times was well on his way to mastering the roads of Edinburgh. With a slight language barrier between us we used the in car blackvue camera a lot which constantly records the road ahead this way we could replay things and make sure that Ben had a full understanding of each situation! Ben managed to find a driving test very soon once we decided he was ready to sit his driving test. It was now time to put his new knowledge that we had practiced taking driving lessons in Edinburgh to the test. Ben was an absolute star passing first time with only three driving faults! Well done.
