Amy, from the Craiglockhart area of Edinburgh, reached out about driving lessons after previously trying to learn but feeling stuck. Determined to make real progress this time, Amy was ready to build on her existing skills and fill in any gaps in her driving knowledge.
From the very first lesson, Amy’s enthusiasm and ability to ask the right questions stood out. Her progress was steady, and she quickly began building her confidence on the road. To keep everything moving smoothly, Amy focused on passing her theory test, which she did successfully after some dedicated revision.
With her theory test complete, the practical test was within reach. Amy booked her driving test for early November, coinciding with a career change that gave her some extra time to practice. During this period, she practised regularly with her mum and dad, ensuring her skills stayed sharp.
Amy’s attention to detail truly paid off. She would come to each lesson with notes, discussing topics she wanted to cover—whether inspired by her experiences, questions from her practice drives, or my YouTube videos. This preparation made Amy incredibly consistent, leaving no detail unpolished.
On the day of her test, Amy’s confidence shone through. She not only passed her test on her first attempt at the Edinburgh Currie test centre but achieved a flawless result with zero faults. An incredible achievement!
