Andrew Burns – West Linton
Andrew had never driven before and with his Dad as an emergency response driver had a lot to live up to. Living in West Linton we were surrounded by small back roads that were ideal for our first time going out driving in the car. We selected one and explained the basics and really focused on getting used to starting and stopping and mastering how the clutch works. You tend to find once someone has the finer control of a car the rest of the driving seems to follow.
Working with Andrew was a pleasure. As driving lessons went on Andrew quickly progressed practising in the West Linton, Penicuik and the Edinburgh area Andrew went on to sit his driving test in Edinburgh at the Currie test centre and passed. He then had to persuade his mum to see if he could get insured on her car which might have been harder than any test he had already sat. Well done.
