Angus – Merchiston Edinburgh
Angus’ mum got in touch with me about starting driving lessons for Angus at the end of last year. Angus was at school in Edinburgh but lived in the Scottish Borders. This was going to give us lots of options for learning to drive. We started in Edinburgh when Angus was free at school and very quickly Angus had the hang of the basic controls. As driving lessons progressed we managed to cover roundabouts and lots of other common scenarios that a city had to offer. During Angus’ Christmas holidays, we looked at things in the Borders and even took a drive into Peebles. Angus did so well taking things in that we had discussed and often asked his own questions which sped things up for us. Everything came together quickly for Angus as once we had covered everything he started practicing with his mum outwith driving lessons. Angus managed to get his driving test booked in Edinburgh just before his Easter holidays started. I was really confident he wouldn’t have any problems as he had been really consistent during driving lessons. On the day of Angus’ test it was really on and off with rain which just kept you on your toes. I was delighted to find out Angus had passed with only two faults. A great result and fantastic to get it all done before his Easter holidays.
