Angus Shaw – Kitleyknowe- Scottish Borders
Angus was just finishing his final year at school when he began driving lessons, I told Angus during the first driving lesson that we did, that out of all the people that I have taught from George Heriot’s School, everyone had passed first time so he had to keep the clean run going! We both laughed at this as it was a fun challenge to have. During driving lessons Angus progressed very well always applying a very logical approach to his driving. During the month of May Angus was sitting his sixth year exams, along with driving lessons which created a very busy workload, but he managed to juggle everything and keep moving forward. Not before to long it was time to line up a test date and time for Angus. We had chosen to use the Currie test centre in Edinburgh and Angus managed to get a date that suited us both which was in September. Angus had some exciting trips planned for July with his family which meant we fitted driving lessons in when we were both free. September was here before we knew it and the driving test was just a matter of weeks away! Angus was planning a trip to Beijing for his next adventure which meant we had one shot at the driving test before he departed. I was very confident as I could see that lots of things had clicked over the final few times of us going out and Angus did not disappoint keeping the George Heriot’s pass record at a 100% pass rate! We were both delighted I hope you have a great time traveling.
