Chloe – Blackford Edinburgh
Chloe got in touch looking for an Edinburgh driving instructor that would cover the Blackford area of town. Chloe had already done driving lessons in Glasgow when at university but was now looking to build on the skills she already had and bring everything together.
After going out it was great to see that Chloe had lots of skills that we could use and some areas that just needed a little fine-tuning. Between driving lessons, Chloe was also going out practising with her mum and dad which made a huge difference as she could really consolidate things that we had done and then we could move on to the next thing.
We decided to try and get a driving test lined up for the start of 2022 as Chloe’s driving was getting really consistent and capable, Chloe managed to get a date lined up for the end of February, as we worked towards it the weather seemed to be really unpredictable. the week before Chloe’s driving test there was heavy snow and then extreme winds and rain! I was regularly looking at weather forecasts to see if there looked like anything was going to interfere with her test in the morning. The forecast looked good though it wasn’t freezing so hopefully ice wouldn’t be a possibility and no snow was forecast. I was relieved on Monday morning to see that this was the case, everything was clear and good to go.
I collected Chloe and we did a general drive around, trying to include a bit of everything, Chloe had also been out with her dad the day before doing one final session. This was great everything seemed to have come together. I was extremely confident that she wouldn’t have any [problems. I was delighted to hear upon her return to the driving test centre that she had passed on her first attempt with no problems at all. Well done Chloe.
