Chris McCabe – Oxgangs Edinburgh

Chris got in touch about driving lessons after I had taught his girlfriend Nicola to drive a year earlier. Chris had already had a few driving lessons but hadn’t been enjoying them so thought that a change of driving instructor would be great. We went out and looked at the skills Chris already had and then added to them. Chris was doing very well we focused driving around the Oxgangs and Colinton area of Edinburgh to begin with really mastering the basic skills, then not before too long we were looking at things like Calder road and the Edinburgh bypass. Chris seemed to pick everything up quickly and with his theory test already passed it was just a matter of when he felt ready it was time to book his driving test. At the time Chris was really busy at work and had limited time off to actually sit a driving test. Chris managed to find a test that suited him and his work schedule at the start of August. We did a big lesson before the test and drove all around Edinburgh on our driving lesson. We were just recapping everything. When Chris left the test centre to do his test I had a really good feeling that he would be able to handle whatever came up. Upon return I was delighted to hear that Chris had passed first time with only 3 faults! A great result and this now sets him with the freedom he was looking for. Well done.
