Dominic – West Linton
Dominic turned 17 at the beginning of summer 2014 and wanted to pass his driving test as soon as possible as this would give him lots of freedom living in West Linton he was very limited to what he could do without getting a lift from someone. Dominic also attended a lot of running competitions so driving would make getting to these events so much easier.
We began in the West Linton area and after practising and developing our skills we headed to Peebles, Penicuik and then onto Edinburgh. Living in West Linton the two closest test centres are either Edinburgh or Peebles. Peebles usually has a big waiting list so we opted for Edinburgh. Being very competitive Dominic rose to the challenge of what Edinburgh had to offer with its busy roundabouts and complex road systems. He went on a passed first time making his return to sixth year more exciting. A great result.
