Emma Charlton – Penicuik Midlothian
Emma started driving lessons at the start of 2016, she had already completed a number of hours with a few other driving instructors as well as driving with her mum so had lots of skills already. Over a few weeks of going out we managed to cover the main things that would be expected of Emma during her driving test. We decided to do a little practice and then try a mock driving test to see how Emma would cope driving unassisted. Emma did very well in her mock driving test, of course there were a few nervous driving mistakes but nothing that I was worried about. We continued driving lessons but were on the lookout for a driving test in the next few weeks. Emma managed to find and book a driving test for the start of April which was terrific as we now had a goal. We kept up the weekly driving lessons for the final 4 weeks and managed to really fine tune the small details Emma had been finding difficult. Before we knew it the driving test was here and I was so confident and felt Emma had done so well on the run up that nothing could go wrong. Emma performed amazingly on the day of her driving test passing first time with only two driving faults and compliments on a great drive from the examiner. This was great as it now gives Emma the freedom to come to and from Penicuik when she chooses. Well done.
