Emma – Penicuik Midlothian
Emma reached out to me after hearing about me from another Penicuik driving instructor. Luckily, I was excited to take on new students after a recent batch of successful graduates. As Emma had never driven before, we started with the basics, getting her familiar with the foundational skills and controls of the car.
Our first lesson went smoothly, aside from a minor puncture, which we quickly fixed and got back on the road. Emma had Tuesdays off from her studies and a part-time job, so that’s when we scheduled our lessons. It wasn’t long before we were exploring beyond the Penicuik area, taking on new challenges and honing Emma’s skills.
As the months went by, Emma’s confidence grew stronger and more consistent. We always came up with a plan to improve and perfect her skills for each lesson. After successfully passing her theory test, Emma was more motivated than ever to book her driving test and hit the road. We conducted numerous mock driving tests, and she even went for extra practice with her granddad.
Finally, Emma found the perfect driving test for early April, and we made sure she was well-prepared. One final practice and we were ready to go. At the test centre, Emma was calm, focused, and drove like a pro, passing on her very first attempt!
I am thrilled for Emma and excited for her newfound freedom to come and go from Penicuik as she pleases. Congratulations, Emma, on a job well done!
