Rachel – Fairmilehead – Edinburgh
Rachel got in touch looking for a driving instructor in Edinburgh that covered the Fairmilehead area. We began from the very beginning, on the first driving lesson we went to the Braids in Edinburgh where we started learning how to start and stop, by the end of that driving lesson Rachel managed to drive back home ending the driving lesson on a high.
As the weeks went by we went out each week and in addition to this Rachel’s mum and dad were taking her out so she could perfect and practice the skills we were looking at during the driving lessons.
Rachel worked over at the Gyle in Edinburgh which was great as she would regularly drive across Edinburgh to get work. This journey would include all sorts of features, from big roundabouts to the city bypass and everything else in between. This really helped with Rachel’s progress.
As it came to the end of the summer Rachel was just starting to pull the final driving details together before needing to head back to Glasgow for university. After returning to university and settling into her new timetable she arranged to sit a driving test in Edinburgh on a Monday this meant she could come back to stay at her mum and dads the weekend before and sit her driving test on Monday.
We arranged to go out a few weeks before this involved Rachel having to drive back through to Edinburgh a few times over the weeks before but this with all made worthwhile when Rachel passed her driving test on her first attempt at the Currie test centre in Edinburgh. Well done.
