Hannah May – West Linton
Hannah started driving lessons just before summer and was extremely keen to get on the road which I loved. Hannah was always full of questions and enthusiasm on each driving lesson which meant we progressed very quickly. After going out on a few driving lessons Hannah decided she wanted to sit her driving test in Edinburgh as the waiting list was a lot shorter than the Peebles driving test waiting list. As the summer holidays rolled in Hannah had a really busy summer planned ahead with T in the Park kicking things off, and then a family holiday followed by an adventure of volunteering on the other side of the world for the remainder of the summer holiday. We managed to get so far with the driving before Hannah departed and had a plan to take us to the driving test when she returned. Late August we resumed driving lessons doing another mock test and fine tuning what we had developed together. As the test week rolled in I had four driving tests with Hannah being the last one that week which meant it was an exciting week for me. The week got of to a great start with the first three passing! Hannah was aware that the three people earlier this week had passed and felt this added to the pressure which already surrounded the driving test. I was more than confident and knew that Hannah had what it took to pass the driving test and she didn’t disappoint passing first time in Edinburgh at the Currie driving test centre and managing to make my week a very successful week.
