Anya – Penicuik Midlothian
Anya’s mum reached out to arrange driving lessons for her. Although my schedule was busy, I managed to squeeze Anya in and was excited to get started. Anya’s enthusiasm for driving was infectious, and I could tell that she was eager to learn. With her very own car, Anya would have plenty of freedom once she passed her test.
Our first lesson was a great success. We ventured outside of Penicuik to the backroads leading to West Linton, where we covered the basics of car control. Although Anya’s car was automatic, we were able to build on her existing skills and teach her everything she needed to know about driving a manual.
As the lessons progressed, we explored the different roads and scenarios that Edinburgh had to offer. Anya adapted quickly, and before we knew it, we were preparing for her test. Despite the tight timeframe, Anya was determined to try and pass her test in just one month. I was confident that we could achieve this, and we worked hard to make it happen.
After completing all of the necessary requirements, we focused on carrying out a mock driving test. Anya handled the pressure with ease, and although there were a few areas that needed improvement, I knew she was on track to succeed.
The big day arrived, and we headed out to the test centre. I was overjoyed to hear that Anya had passed her test on the first attempt. With her newfound freedom, she can now come and go from Penicuik as she pleases. Congratulations, Anya!
