Flexibility and Focus Lead to First-Time Pass
Ross embarked on his driving journey a bit later in life, recognizing the increasing necessity of driving with children involved in football and various other activities. Additionally, a driving license was a valuable asset for his changing job prospects. We began lessons in March 2020, but as many will remember, the country went into lockdown by the end of that month due to coronavirus. This halted our lessons, which briefly resumed at the end of 2020 before a second lockdown at the start of 2021 disrupted Ross’s progress once again.
After the second lockdown, life got even busier for Ross with a house move and job-related changes, causing a further delay in resuming lessons. It wasn’t until the start of 2024, with no interruptions, that we could finally focus on getting Ross on the road. Throughout this period, Ross remained enthusiastic and driven to earn his license.
We worked diligently through the syllabus, conducting mock driving tests to prepare him for the real thing. During this time, Ross was between jobs, allowing him to capitalize on his free time and maintain a flexible schedule, which expedited his learning process.
Once we got everything up to standard, Ross booked his driving test for a few weeks later. Confident in his abilities, I had high hopes for his success. Ross passed on his first attempt, earning compliments from the examiner. Well done, Ross!
